An established event florist and nationally recognized designer and author, Stephen set up his own floristry design and venue dressing company in 1985 and has exhibited at Chelsea Flower Show winning numerous gold medals and best in show awards. Interested in competition work for the ability to nurture innovation and increase design skills he won the Best Interior Landscape exhibit and Gold medal at The Liverpool Garden Festival, and also again at the Stoke Garden Festival.
Stephen trained and worked as a Landscape Architect and later as a florist and Interior Landscape Designer. For many years teaching and training florists who have worked for most of the major companies such as Jane Packer ,Paula Pryke, Kenneth Turner and Harrods.
Past Florist of the Year for the Florist Magazine, Stephen started writing books in the 1980's including the very successful Wedding Flowers by Stephen Roberts, he is currently working on a new wedding flower book.
